Here's an update for you guys!

I know things have been a little quiet around here concerning the band for some time now. But that does not mean we're getting lazy! No, Sir! We have basically spent a whole year busting our balls writing the songs and recording endless pre-productions. We are now happy to announce that all the songs for the Shraphead debut album is now written and ready to be recorded. We are super satisfied with the results. Perfection is at hand!  

It's 12 songs - all killers, no fillers!

The recording date has been set to May and we can't wait to get this shit hammered down once and for all. Just you wait ;) Hopefully it will be released next fall.

We are also pleased to announce that we have signed with ICS Booking from Germany. ICS will handle our bookings in Europe and they seem like good people! Can't wait to get on the road soon!

Howdy ho!

After our gig in Bø last month, Petter Murud decided to leave Shraphead due to personal reasons, Petter felt like taking a different direction music wise. We can’t do anything but respect he`s decision.

Since we have a lot of stuff going on these days, we`re already awfully proud to announce that we have got a new lead guitarist! This dude’s name is Nils-Christer Stenmyren. Last weekend we played our first gig with him in Karlstad and he kicked ass! Nils has been a friend of the band for a long time now, so there was no doubt that the chemistry and mutual respect was right there from the start. He has already contributed a lot to the song writing and he proves every rehearsal that he is an ambitious and talented guitar player.

We’re really looking forward to countless new songs, gigs, beers and (hopefully) success!

New song online "Blind and Seduced"

We have just launched a brand new song on Myspace. Check it out!!

We went back to the studio again with the same crew (Kristian Liljan and Fredrik Ryberg from Hamar Recordings) as last time to record some new material, and "Blind And Seduced" was one of the songs that we recorded.

These days we are working on writing new material, and it's shaping up pretty good for each writing session. We are also working on some live-shows for next early year. Updates will show up here and on our myspace site.
